Job Overview:

The Vanuatu Gaming Authority (VGA) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Interactive Compliance Administrator to ensure that our licensed entities adhere to the regulatory requirements of Vanuatu’s interactive gaming industry. This role will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and compliance of the gaming industry while supporting regulatory processes and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Oversight: Monitor licensed entities to ensure full compliance with the Vanuatu Interactive Gaming Act and associated regulations.
  • Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to regulatory bodies, documenting compliance statuses and addressing any areas of concern.
  • License Management: Assist in reviewing and processing gaming license applications and renewals, ensuring that all required documents are submitted and up-to-date.
  • Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce compliance policies for licensees, ensuring they meet the highest regulatory standards.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing for and conducting compliance audits of licensees, providing the necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Training and Guidance: Provide compliance guidance and training to licensees to ensure they understand and follow Vanuatu’s gaming regulations.
  • Communication with Stakeholders: Act as a liaison between VGA, licensed entities, and other regulatory bodies, maintaining clear and effective communication.
  • Incident Reporting: Investigate and report any non-compliance issues, ensuring prompt action to rectify violations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of compliance activities, audit results, and regulatory filings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Year 13 graduate or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on computer literacy.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new compliance software quickly. Familiarity with data management and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify compliance issues and recommend solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain regulatory requirements clearly to licensees and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and handle compliance challenges with a solution-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or the interactive gaming industry is beneficial, though not required.
  • Familiarity with the Vanuatu Interactive Gaming Act or other regulatory frameworks would be advantageous.
