Position: Stakeholder Support Officer

Overview: The Vanuatu Gaming Authority (VGA) is seeking a dedicated and solution-oriented Stakeholder Support Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with both licensees and consumers, addressing inquiries, and finding solutions to ensure a smooth and positive experience. This role plays a crucial part in supporting VGA’s mission to deliver exceptional service to all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for licensees and consumers, fielding inquiries through email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Provide accurate information regarding license requirements, processes, and other relevant services.
- Proactively address concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal teams to escalate complex issues when necessary, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of VGA’s services, regulations, and processes to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Keep detailed records of all communications and issues for reference and reporting purposes.
- Work closely with other departments to provide feedback from stakeholders that may lead to improvements in processes or services.
- Assist in developing support resources, including FAQs and guides, to help stakeholders address common queries independently.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, with a proactive and resourceful approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer service or client support is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with gaming regulations or licensing processes is advantageous.
- High level of computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education Requirement:
- Minimum of Year 13 education or equivalent.
